Answer:in this poem, the poet personifies the laburnum tree who stand slient and the still on an autumn afternoon in September.the leaves of the tree have turned in yellow in colour and its seeds have fallen.this continue until the gold finch bird liven up the tree by it's suddenness and starleting.the bird is seek like a lizard and its make the tree tremble by it's Swift motion on the various branches of the tree. the livening of the tree is described as the starting up the machine by the chittering and by the tremors of the birds wing when the bird peep through the yellow leaves of the tree,it appears as if it had covered his face by the mask.at last the bird flies back into the infinite sky leaving the tree desolde and empty again.
