The theme of this poem was simply to make people aware about having greed is useless people won't remember you after dying even if you build an entire city on your name . It's the time which changes everything today it's your turn tomorrow their will be someone different in place of yours , so other than thinking about the valueless planing after your death better to start helping and doing some work for others so that you could make a place in their heart for more than a century . The main thing is self satisfaction but day by day it is turning into people's devil greed hence poet have choose this theme just to make people familiar about the actually fact !!
