In this story JEROME K. JEROME

is the author tell us that before starting any journey we should plan properly. Otherwise we have to face so many difficulty. we should not take any task very easy or leave it for others, we have to very sincere and cautious during the packing.

Our life is also a journey we should first think or prepare what to do then act.

In this story author and his friends were packing for the trip. But his friends take packing a very easy task although narrator pride on his packing but he also committed some mistake. While packing hamper by his friends he committed lots of mistake which they took as a easy task will became a curse and difficult task for them. They upset almost everything.
