The three laws given by Kepler are 1)Law of orbit. 2)Law of areas. 3)Law of periods.

1)Law of orbit - Each planet moves around the sun in an elliptical orbit with the sun at one of foci of orbit.

2)Law of areas - The line joining the sun and the planet sweeps out equal area in equal interval of time. Let a planet move from position A to B in the Time (t) and from position C to D in the same time (t) then according to Kepler's second law area SBA=SCD.

3)Law of periods - The square of time taken by a planet to complete the revolution around the sun is directly proposnal to the cube of semi-major axis (r) of the elliptical orbit

T^2 is directly proposnal to r^3
