Once there was a lazy king who would do nothing else except eat and sleep. Eventually, he became so overweight that he grew inactive and even couldn't do anything much anymore. He couldn't move properly nor can he manage his affairs and became sickly. The ministers consulted a doctor and asked him what was the cause of his illness. No one could diagnose the real problem.
One day, a minister of the king met a sadhu who offered to cure the king of his illness. The only condition he has is that the king must come to his hut to be diagnosed. So, the minister told the king about it and the king readily agreed to go to the sadhu's hut in the forest, which was a far place from the palace. Nevertheless, he went and walked all the way, sweating profusely. By the time he reached the hut, he was so soaked in his won sweat that he had to rest immediately.
then, the sadhu gave him an iron ball and told him to exercise with it every day. The king agreed, wanting to be completely healed. Obeying the advice of the sadhu, he worked out with the ball every single day. After a month, he began to see a transformation in himself. He had become more active and he felt stronger and more alert.
By the time the sadhu came back to visit, many months had passed. The king felt better and he had lost so much weight. The sadhu then revealed that he's been cured of his illness, by the practice of exercise that led to his transformation and eventual healthy appearance and feeling.
