capitalist:
1) productions are controlled by individuals
2) individual gain maximum profit in favor of private property
socialist :
1) productions ate controlled by government or society
2)social welfare is the main motive of a socialist society .......hope it helps.... plzz mark as brainliest

( 1 ) The capitalist believed that individuals owned private property whereas the socialists believed that all property belonged to the society as a whole that is to the state .

( 2 ) the capitalist believed that the profit from the property should belong to the property owner whereas socialist believed that the profit should be shared with the workers
