Most of the instructors in JIM & NIMAS are HAWS(High Altitude Warfare School) qualified and it offer splendid training ground for Sonamarg batches.
NIM & HMI have comparatively more civilian instructor than JIM & NIMAS.
All the institute impart similar training, same technique. Only difference is what amount of practice you get and that is mostly dependent on the batch size as well as weather condition.
If you opt for JIM, go for training conducted at Sonamarg.
NIM & HMI will have better equipment wrt JIM for training purpose.
NIMAS has very good equipment and the experience is very different as there is trek to restricted areas of Arunachal Pradesh. Also, the ice wall is alsomost vertical with approx 30 m in length. NIMAS has now a artificial wall in campus which is an added advantage.
