About Angiosperms:-

These are flowering plants bear seed enclosed in fruit

They have all component of vascular tissue

Flowers bear reproductive organs

Seed bear,Seed leaf or cotyledon

According to number of Cotyledon it is of two types; Monocotyledon and Dicotyledon.

In Monocotyledon

•Have one cotyledon

•Adventitous root

•Parallel venation

•Vascular bundle are closed and scatlered

•Seeds are endospermic so have thin cotyledon

•Eg:-Rice,Wheat,Maize,Coconut etc.

In Dicotyledon

•Have two cotyledon

•Tap root

•Reticulate venation

•Vascular bundle open and present in a ring

•Seeds are non-endospermic so have thick cotyledon

•Eg:-Legume,Potato,Rose,Neem,Apple etc.
