Anñńeyong....

Mixture -- A mixture is a substance which consists of two or more element or compounds not chemically combined together .

There are two type of mixture--

  1. Homogenous mixture
  2. Heterogeneous mixture

Homogenous mixture -- Those mixture in which the substances are completely mixed together and are indistinguishable from one another, are called homogenous mixture. A homogenous mixture has uniform composition throughout it's mass.

Heterogeneous mixture -- Those mixture in which the substances remain separate and one substance is spread throughout the other substance as small particles , droplets or bubbles , are called heterogeneous mixture. A heterogeneous mixture does not have a uniform composition throughout it's mass.

Hope you get it......

Mixtures In Chemistry:-

⦁ The substance which contain more thaan two atoms together is commonly known as Mixtures.

Mixtures are classified into two types:-

1) Homogenous,

2) Heterogeneous.

⦁ Mixtures can be of any matter also these can be mixed together, Matter in chemistry are as follows.

1) Solid,

2) Liquid,

3) Gaseous.

Homogenous mixture:-

⦁ In this type the components of mixtures are uniformly distributed.

Heterogeneous mixture:-

⦁ In this type the components of mixtures are non-uniformly distributed.

Point to remember:-

⦁ If some components are dissolved in water then we can find that this is homogenous or heterogeneous mixture.

Example:-

1) Homogenous mixture: Sodium chloride.

2) Heterogeneous mixture: Sugar.
