We know that G is the Universal Constant of the Gravitation.
∵ F = Gm₁m₂/r²
∴ G = Fr²/m₁m₂
∴ G = N (m)²/kg.kg
⇒ G = Nm²/kg²
∴ G = Nm²kg⁻²
Hence, the unit of the Universal Constant of Gravitation is Nm²kg⁻².
Now, F = mg
∴ g = F/m
⇒ g = N/kg
⇒ g = kgm/s² . kg
∴ g = m/s²
Hence, the unit of the constant of gravitation is N kg⁻¹.
Hope it helps.
