Electric fuse protect the appliances from being overloaded or getting short circuit

Explanation:

  • It is a metal wire or strip made up of elements having low melting point so that whenever high current flows through it due to large amount of heat it melts out and break the flow of current and protect the further devices or appliance being damaged by overloading or overheating
  • Electric fuses are available for different ratings of current according to our requirement and we can use them to protect our circuit
  • By using electric fuse we can enhance the efficiency of appliance by using it for long time
