The safety device used in electric circuit is fuse. It is extremely important to have various safety devices to protect from fire and electrocution. Industrial electricity use
has similar problems. This page examines these electrical safety devices. Namely, fuses, circuit breakers, and ground fault circuit interrupters

HEYA MATE, HERE IS UR ANSWER __________________

Electric fuse is the safety device used in electric circuit which follows the heating effect of electric current and protects the appliances from burning .

The fuse wire is made up of a metal with low melting point or an alloy of copper and tin . The fuse is directly connected to the live wire .When the current exceeds its normal value, the fuse wire melts breaking the circuit and eventually saving the appliances from damage.

The fuse are rated 1A ,2A,3A ,etc which gives the maximum value of current which can pass through the fuse.

Nowadays, Miniature Circuit Breakers(MCBs) are used in the place of fuse ,which falls down automatically when the current exceeds.
