Hey There!
Iron (Fe) has Valences of 2 or 3.
Chlorine valence = 1
Fe(2+) + 2 x Cl(1-) = Iron (II) Chloride FeCl2.
Fe(3+) + 3 x Cl(1-) = Iron (III) Chloride (FeCl3).
Iron dichloride (Ferrous chloride) and Ion trichloride (Ferric chloride).
