Step-by-step explanation:

The standard form of the Quadratic eqn is

ax²+bx+c=0

By Rearranging the eqn

we get,

x²-7x-5=0 -----------( 1 )

On Comparing the eqn ( 1 ) with ax²+ bx +c

we get ,

a=1 ,b= (-7) ,c= (-5)
