for \: equal \: roots \: d = 0 \\ therefore \\ b^{2}  - 4ac = 0 \\ km(m - 2) + 6 = 0 \\ km^{2}  - 2km + 6 = 0 \\  \\ now \: b^{2}  - 4ac = 0 \\ therefore \:  ( - 2k)^{2}  - 4(k)(6) = 0 \\  {4k}^{2}  - 24k = 0 \\ 4k(k - 6)  = 0 \\ 4k = 0 \: or \: k - 6 = 0 \\ k = 0 \: or \: k = 6
