(i) Light is a transverse Electromagnetic wave.

(ii) It has the property of both Wave and Particle.

(iii) The speed of Light is calculated as 3 x 108 m/s.

(iv) Electromagnetic waves are produced when the Electric charge vibrates.

(v) The vibrating electric charge produces the Electric field, the change is Electric charge creates a change in Magnetic field.

(vi) Both the Electric and Magnetic fields which are in the direction of propagation of a Wave which is perpendicular to each other.

(vii) The color of Light is probably determined by its Wavelength.

(viii) Wavelength is the distance between successive crects (or Trough) Electromagnatic Wave.

(ix) Speed of Light is calculated as:
