The Indus Valley civilization was a civilization which flourished in Pakistan and Western India. The Cities of Harappa were divided into the Citadel and lower town. The citadel had high walls which protected the buildings inside from floods and tsunamis. The harappans also had an efficient drainage system. Inspection holes were provided at regular distance. Tax was collected in grains. Many toys like marbles, whistles, carts, wheels were found which show that harappan children also played. The harappans worship mother nature and idols of Lord Pashupathi were found. Many charred grains have been found, stating there were granaries. The end of the civilization is unknown, as it might have ended due to natural calamities, breakdown of drainage and epidemics and invasions by Aryans. The Great Bath is a structure similar to a bath tub, which was used for rituals and bathing by the kings. The bath was in the citadel, and the kings and priests lived in the citadel.
