There are number of enzyme catalysed reactions.

Many enzyme catalysed reactions occur in our body too.

The Glycolysis and the Krebs cycle, the reactions that are involved in this pathway are catalysed by enzymes.

The enzymes of Glycolysis are present outside the mitochondrial surface whereas the enzymes of Krebs cycle are located in the matrix of mitochondria except succinate dehydrogenase which is present in the inner membrane of mitochondria.

Some common examples of reactions are

Fermentation by yeast in presence of enzyme zymase

Breakdown of starch into maltose in the presence of enzyme Diastase.

Breakdown of starch into sugars in mouth is done by salivary amylase

4 Breakdown of peptides into amino acids by Peptidases.
