Hey there !!!!!

x²-x-6=0

x²-3x+2x-6=0

x(x-3)+2(x-3)=0

(x+2)=0 (x-3)=0

x=-2 and x=3

Therefore -2 and 3 are zeroes of polynomial of x²-x-6

p(x) = x²-x-6=0

splitting the middle term :-

x²- 3x + 2x - 6=0

taking common term outside :-
x(x-3)+2(x-3)=0
(x+2) (x-3)

x = -2 ,  x=3

Hence ,
 -2 and 3 are zeroes of p(x)

Hope this Helps You !!
