The given polynomial is

x^2-x-6

x^2-3x+2x-6

x(x-3) + 2(x-3)

(x-3) (x+2)

(x-3)=0. And. (x+2)=0
x = 3. And. x = -2


Zero of the polynomials are -2,3.
