in the beginning of the process the female silkworm give birth to many silkworm.then these eggs are sold to the silkworm farmers.they warm the egg to most appropriate temperature to hatch the eggs to produce larvae or caterpillar.the caterpillar are kept at the mulberry tree.the caterpillar keep eating mulberry and grow it's size.after 30 to 40 days they stop eating mulberry

then moves inside the small chambers in the bamboo trays to spin cocoons
