Dear Mr King,

Please accept this letter for my interest in this position.

I believe that a Head Girl should play a large part in school life, for the staff and the students.. For this position, one needs to have the ability to be a role model to the rest of the student body and the skill to inspire their peers. The role of a Head Girl is crucial. It is a role that requires patience, respect, care, the ability to work well in a team and a drive to make every student’s school life more comfortable, enjoyable and to support the reputation of the school.

Head Girl would mean that I would play a key role in the school community which is a responsibility that I am willing to do and I would be excited to take. It will help me to have the opportunity to become more involved with the school and being able to help improve and motivate the students of Brookes. Being a Head Girl doesn’t mean that you are the most popular, confident, beautiful or indeed the most intelligent girl in the school. I believe that a Head Girl needs to have a good balance of priorities and not only a good understanding and willingness to follow school rules respectfully but the ability to understand other pupils actions.

I do have my flaws but who doesn’t? I have found that if you are content and happy in your working environment then you will naturally work harder and put more effort into school work, which contributes to creating a well-rounded student. I would try my hardest to make sure the younger members of our school t to enjoy the environment. I have read a lot about been a leader in school. I was learning entrepreneurship and leadership as an extracurricular activity. My teacher was proud of me until it was canceled because it was just me. I felt bad but it didn’t make me to stop studying about it. This is a quote that motivates me to strive for my achievements: ”A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.”
