write three difference between a gorge and canyon?

(1) It is an 'T' shaped valley.
(2) It is very deep,steep and narrow valley.
(3) Canyon is formed is areas where the rainfall scanty i.e., in arid regions

Gorge

(1) It is formed where the rocks are hard
(2) It is formed in semi -arid or semi-humid regions.
(3) A gorge is useful for dam construction i.e., on Satluj gorge
