I think you are confusing things here. Intelligence can not be “acquired” later on. It can be slightly improved with medication but mostly your genes have taken care of your IQ, right at the beginning. Knowledge on the other hand can be acquired. The rate at which knowledge is acquired and used, is directly proportional to the intelligence you were boren with.
