Example- a fan is moving ,suddenly someone off's the switch but still it continues to move

Example- A remote control car is been played by a child

,he is tired playing ...when he switched off the car ...it continued to move

this is called inertia

Definition of inertia :

Inertia says let me do what I want to do..

If any object is in the mode of inertia it will continue the work it was doing inspite of stopping it,it does not stop
