1st Number → \frac{ - 4 + 2}{2} = \frac{ - 2}{2} = - 1

2nd Number → \frac{ - 1 + 2}{2} = \frac{1}{2} = 0.5

3rd Number → \frac{0.5 + 2}{2} = \frac{2.5}{2} = 1.25

Answer:

5/2,3 and 7/2

Step-by-step explanation:

mean of 2 and 4=2+4/2=3

now mean of 2 and 3 =(2+3)2=5/2

mean of 2 and 4 =3+4/2=7/2

hence 3 rational no between 2 and 4 are

5/2,3 and 7/2
