Akbar was the most capable and sucessful mughal emperor.

He was brave, clever and secular in his views which helped him rule without much problem.

Two steps he took to win over Rajputs are:

i) He gave Rajput chiefs high position in his royal court.

Ii) He married Rajput princesses and gave them choice to practice their own religion.

  • Akbar defeated the the Rajputs birthday did not humiliate them. He treated them very honourbly. He allowed most Rajput kings to continue to ruling over their territories. He did not interfere in their internal matters.
