Whether it's a letter or maths problem or any other learning. As a toddler, a human being learns using all his five senses, If you give a toy to the baby it will see it, feel it, listen to it, taste it, smell it and finally breaks it. If you don't know how to break it, you will never know how to create it. Because that's how you learn a deep inside of everything. But in contrast what education does is, it stops all our senses. The more you question, the more you’re out of the class. Not even in education, even the society thinks you’re mad when you question why should we follow certain custom or ritual or a rule. Even now I don't understand for breaking a custom why we pay a coconut, money and huge respect to a priest who allows us to bypass that particular custom/ritual.
Teachers always used to hate me, even students. I was the most bullied person in school as the teachers used to make me a laughing stock. As I didn’t know another world than school and home, I thought that's how the system works. But once I got a chance of leaving the school and had the option of choosing what I read in Intermediate, me in me came back. I had the best life after that, Internet played a key role in my life for getting answers and logics, few lecturers in my Intermediate like Mr.Rehmath of zoology who was just like me started liking me very much and we became so close that I used to correct zoology papers of degree level which were assigned to him. But again when I joined my B.tech I was always the “Outstanding” student who was standing outside the class. Because B.tech need logic and practicality to understand, but no engineering college had labs to show them. So, I shifted my path and started attending Paper presentations, Seminars, Competitions, fests, short film competitions in various cities of India, just to avoid classes.
But during this journey, I gained much knowledge than the people who used to write and submit assignment promptly to the professors. At the end of the college, I was the only one who landed up in Job from the department in my 4–1 and also cleared GATE without any formal preparation. I heard that I was the only one who gave a competition for both ECE and CSE students in the final round where there were only 3 people to get selected for 2 openings. Being a Biotech student it was my luck to crack a software job where 11 ECE&CSE students competed with me. But the real secret was, HR was a fan of Chetan Bhagat and I too read his few novels which made us friends in that 15 minutes time-span. He is still my friend on my Facebook and we met twice in Bangalore.
