On the subject cited above, I would like to inform you that the locality of 26 Civil Lines does not have any street lights for the past 3 to 5 years. This is due to lack of maintenance, repair and replacement by the Electricity Department and the residents of this locality has been deprived of any spare lights for many years. As a result criminal and antisocial activities at night are on the raise in the area. This locality urgently needs spare lights for security and safety.
Therefore, I request you to take up the matter on top priority and repair/ replace the broken spare lights as soon as possible.
