write true or false it snows heavily in the Shimla and Darjeeling pls answer me guys​

There are a lot of factors for a snowfall to happen, one of them being height. Simla is at 2025 mtrs, Darjeeling at 2025 mtrs and Kathmandu at 1500.

2nd reason whether the hill station falls within the snow range, which also means that if the height is low then as it falls within the snow range it recieves snow.

The minimum temp to receive snow is at least 2deg celcius. Some hill station being stand alone though at a height of 2000mtrs do not rec snow because the area doesn't fall within snow range. Eg of this is Ooty.

This year Rampur in Himachal received snow though very less, at a height of only 900 mtrs due to the western disturbance and it was cold at 2 Deg .

Darjeeling does not get snow always because the temp goes below 2 deg so as snow to happen.
