when the quadrilsteral's angles are right angles and if two pairs of sides are parallel and equal to each other then the quadrileteral is a rectangle

Required conditions for a quadrilateral to be a rectangle.

1) Both pairs of opposite sides are equal. [ Simply, The quadrilateral must be a parallelogram ]

2) One angle must be right angled.
[ If one angle is right angle, then all others become right angled, as in a parallelogram, Adjacent angles are supplementary, and opposite angles are equal. ].
