There are two types of vaporization:evaporation and boiling. Evaporationis a phase transition from the liquid phase to vapor (a state of substance below critical temperature and critical pressure) that occurs at temperatures below the boiling temperature at a given pressure. Evaporation usually occurs on the surface.

evaporation:-1. It is a physical process.
2. It occurs at any temperature.
3. It depends on humidity and wind speed.
boiling:-1. It occurs only at a specific temperature i.e. boiling point of the liquid.
2.It is a chemical process.
3.It does not depend on humidity and wind speed.
