1.Compounds comes under pure substance whereas mixture is a impure substance.
2. A pure substance which is made up of only one kind of molecule is called compounds. Mixtures has a variable composition. Therefore no definite formula can be given to a mixture.
3. A compound has a fixed melting and boiling point whereas a mixture does not have a fixed melting or boiling point.
