•In a Parliamentary form of government the executive is answerable to the legislature.
Is the executive losses the support of the majority in the Parliament, it will have to resign.
•In a presidential form of government, the head of state, that is the president is directly elected by the people and hence has great power.
Here the executive is not answerable to the legislature.
