Direction of motion is in the direction of velocity.

Now direction of motion and direction of acceleration (or net force ) may or may not be same. Some examples in which direction of motion(i.e velocity) and direction of acceleration is same are as follows.

Drop a ball from some height near the surface of Earth. Now direction of acceleration ( net gravitational force ) is in direction of motion ( i.e velocity)

Consider a simple Atwood machine ( two blocks connected by massless inextensible string over a pulley).Now if the two masses are unequal there would be motion of each block. The heavier block moves towards surface of Earth and lighter block moves away from surface of Earth.For both the blocks direction of acceleration ( net force) is in the direction of motion i.e velocity.

There can be multiple such examples in which direction of acceleration is in the direction of motion.
