Birth Rate or Natality: Birth rate or natality basically indicates the total number of people added to the existing population size of any region or country due to new birth.Birth rate shows the overall number of new born for every 1000 people in a year.Therefore,birth rate is an indicator of the total number of people added to the existing volume or size of population in a specific period of time,usually an year.
2. Immigration:Immigration is a general term which refers to the migration of people or individuals from one geographical area to the other for various socio-economic and/or political factors or compulsions.Hence,an increase in immigration or migration rate of people will increase the overall population size of any particular area or country.Alternatively,migration out of any particular place will consequently reduce the population size of that specific place.Therefore,migration has a direct and positive relationship with the population size of any place.
