❄❄❄❄❄ LYMPH ❄❄❄❄❄

✔ Lymph is a pale yellow colour alkaline fluid that has all the elements of blood except RBCs and PLATELETS, or we can simply say that it is the plasma of the blood.

✔ Lymph contains lymphocytes which helps in the transfer of some food substances from the blood to the cells.

❄❄❄ LYMPH VESSELS ❄❄❄

✔ Lymph consists of lymph vessels called Lacteals.

✔ These lymph vessels have thin walls and valves.

✔ The lymph flows in these vessels.

==================================

MAJOR FUNCTIONS OF LYMPH :-

1) It supplies nutrients and oxygen to the tissue cells where the blood cannot reach directly.

2) The lymph absorbs the fats from the intestine.

3) Lymph also drains away the excess tissue fluids and metabolites.

4) The lymphocytes and monocytes present in the lymph protect the body by their phagocytic properties.

Explanation:

Hi here is your answer...

(i) Naturally lymph is a type of fluid also involved in the process of transportation in animals.

(ii) the lymph fluid is also known as the tissue fluid. Through the lymph or the pores present in the walls of the capillaries some amount of Plasma, proteins ,and blood cells, escape into intercellular spaces in the tissue to form the tissue fluid or lymph.

(iii) the leaf is also similar to the plasma of blood but colourless and not contain any fully emerge protein. Further it drains into the lymphatic capillaries from the intercellular spaces which join to form large lymph vessels that finally opened into large veins.

(iv) Lymph further carries the digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from the surplus/extra cellular space back into the blood.
