The atmosphere is an important part of what makes Earth livable. It blocks some of the Sun's dangerous rays from reaching Earth. It traps heat, making Earth a comfortable temperature. And the oxygen within our atmosphere is essential for life.

Importance of atmosphere :-

1) Atmosphere contains all the necessary gases and water vapours. Life giving oxygen, nitrogen which is required for the growth of plants, carbon dioxide which is required for the respiration of plants, all required gases are in the atmosphere. Water vapours are required for all the process of water cycle.

2) Also, it has ozone layer which protects our environment from the sun's harmful rays.

3) Atmosphere is responsible for the regulation of all the climate and temperature of the earth.
