The functions of testosterone are :

  • It also helps to develop secretory sex characters in male.
  • It helps in spermatogenesis.
  • It increases Basal metabolic rate of the body.
  • It helps in the growth of muscles and bones.
  • It helps in the synthesis of protein in the body.
  • It helps in stimulating erythropoiesis.
