In order to teach Preposition, you can use the items in the class-room or have a model of a zoo.  You can keep an animal behind a tree and ask pointing to the animal “what is this?” the child would say the animal name.  You can ask “where it is standing?”  The child would say, “Behind the tree.”  Like this, you keep a pencil-box on the table and ask, “Where the box is?” the child would say, “ on the table.”

You can ask the children to speak in complete sentence.  The above can be conducted as a quiz.

Inorder to teach the texture of a product and the feeling, you can bring the materials and divide the children in to groups.  Example, you have cotton.  Ask the children to feel it and then ask each member to state their feeling. As they are in grade II, the teacher has to ask leading questions to get the relevant word.
