Limitations :

1. It was applicable upto calcium (for lighter elements only)

2.To fit the elements into his table, Newland put even two elements together in one single slot(eg:Co and Ni)

3.placing of iron far away from Cobalt and nickel, which have similar properties as iron, could also not be explain.

4.discovery of noble gas disturbed the table.

5.He said only 56 elements are existed and no more elements are found.

6.property of new discovered elements did not fit into the law of octave.

Newland said that only 56elements are existin nature no new elements further found in future..

He will put two elements in same slot,but also put some unlike elements under the smae slot.
