Here is your answer:-

SPRING BALANCE :

As we all know, a spring balance is an instrument for measuring weight, which is a vector quantity, meaning it has both direction and magnitude.

If you are familiar with the chapter on Force And Motion, you will read about spring balance in detail. If you pull a spring balance from both the ends, and it gives a reading of 2 Kg, then it is equal to the force by which the Earth attracts a thing with mass 2 Kg towards it's centre. The force applied will be (2 × 9.8) N = 19.6 N.

N is Newton, the SI unit of force, hope you know that.

PS : Please read the definition of weight carefully, you will know what I mean, because my answer seems to be vague.

Mark brainliest, if it helps you.
