I could not thank my friend, Arnav, enough when I got my project done and submitted it too. In fact, we started the project together, brainstorming to really come up with a couple of unique ideas. We collected a lot of information together for the same, though, we had to do our project on our own. It was a topic that we both enjoyed very much. It was on our favourite sports.
Half way through this, I was down with viral infection. Initially I had a high fever and could not get out of bed for a week. I was still feeling tired and had bad throat but the project had to be done. We had to submit it the next week and I had not even started.

I started on the project that weekend but I was very slow as I got tired easily. They say, ‘where there is a will there is a way’! I worked whenever I could manage and finished half my project. Suddenly I developed a high temperature on Sunday and could not get out of bed.

Arnav had come to see me on Sunday and when he saw my condition he offered to help. When I asked if he had completed his work he said no. I could not ask for his help then. I was in bed mostly after that, sleeping the fever off.
When I recovered again I remembered my project and felt very sad for not being able to submit it on time. When I woke up on Wednesday, I felt better and decided to go to school. That was the day, the project needed to be submitted.

With a heavy heart, I went to collect my project. I did not have much time so put the project file in my bag and left for school. I was ready to submit the project, with thoughts of apologies for the teacher, filling up my mind. When I took out my project I just could not believe my eyes! It was a completed project and it was much better than what I myself could have done.
I just hugged my friend. No words were enough to thank such a gesture of help. I could only make up for such help by being there for my friend when he really needed me next!
