(-x) - (-y) = 7

(-x)+ y= 7

Remember:

Positive × Positive = positive

Negative × Negative = Positive

Negative × Positive = Negative

Positive × Negative = Negative

Solution:-

i)

(-3) - (-10) = 7

=> -3 + 10 = 7

=> 7 = 7

LHS = RHS

ii)

(-1)-(-8) = 7

=> -1 + 8 = 7

=> 7 = 7

LHS = RHS
