We received an overwhelming number of wide-ranging and inspiring responses to the challenge of writing a story on the theme of ‘belonging’. The judging panel, headed by Cortina Butler, Director of Literature at the British Council, was extremely impressed with the quality of the entries:
‘We have learned so much from reading everyone’s work about the lives of young people growing up in the Commonwealth – both what is common to us all and what is distinct’, explained Cortina. ‘What all the entries clearly demonstrate is how important a sense of belonging is to every one of us, wherever we live.’

Class 1 - 6 --> 7 AM to 11 AM
Class 7 onwards --> 11 AM to 4:45 PM
