When lead nitrate is heated in test tube, we can observe two different colors in it.
This is because on heating PbNO3 decomposes or breaks into lead oxide(PbO) which is yellow in color.
And Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is formed which is yellowish brown and oxygen gas is evolve
