CATHODE RAYS
* These consist of negatively charged particles
called electrons.
* The mass of negatively charged particles does not depend upon the nature of gas taken in the discharge tube.
CANAL RAYS
* Canal rays is the other name of anode rays which consist of positively charged particles.
* The mass of the positive particles depend upon the nature of gas taken in the discharge tube.
