1) Maps are made of paper and are lightweight, so we can fold it according to our convenience and carry it.

While globes...since they are 3-Dimensional, It is heavy and circular in shape, making it inconvenient to carry as it would take up a lot of space to carry

2) Maps can show highways, roads, rivers, routes etc.in detail while a globe is a replica of earth, so it won't include detailed info about routes, and all.
