Most recipes are written like so: "Mix the sugar into the strawberries..."
You is understood to be the subject that is doing the mixing.

To rewrite it in passive form would look more like so: "The sugar is mixed into the strawberries..."
In the second example, the subject is sugar. Here, the subject is not taking action but is the agent that is being acted on. Often, in passive form the verb is a form of 'be' or 'get'
