Mitochondria produces energy in the form of ATP whereas Plastidsmanufacture food i.e., photosynthesis.Plastids occur only in plant and algae cells, but mitochondria are found in all eukaryotic cells. ... mitochondria and plastics are they both are bounded with double membrane and they have there own gagnetic material.

SIMILARITIES-
1.A double membrane surrounding the organelles.
2.Both organelles have chemical cycles in which the initial acceptor is regenerated at the end of the cycle. In mitochondia, the Krebs cycle occurs after which oxaloacetate is regenerated at the end of the reaction. In chloroplasts, the Calvin cycle occurs in which ribulose bisphosphate is regenerated at the end of the reaction.
DISSIMILARITIES-
1.Mitochondria are involved in cellular respiration where as plastics(chloroplasts) are involved in photosynthesis. Thus, the overall chemical reactions for the processes occurring in them are different and reversed.
